The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Athlete Biological Passport Symposium was held in New Delhi, India between 12-14 October 2022. The Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Director General Prof. Dr. Rüştü Güner, Deputy Director General Atty. Mehmet Yoğurtcuoğlu, Scientific Research and Medical Affairs Coordinator Doga Derman Veldet and Medical Specialist Yağmur Yagdiran Alatlı participated in this symposium.
On the first day of the symposium, the experiences of experts and Anti-Doping Organizations were presented in sessions within the scope of the Hematological Module of the Athlete Biological Passport program. On the second day, within the scope of the Athlete Biological Passport program, Steroid Module, Steroid Module updates and the newly put into effect Endocrine Module were explained. The World Anti-Doping Agency introduced new practices to Anti-Doping Organizations and laboratories involved in Anti-Doping. On the third day of the symposium, various case discussions were held under the moderation of experts. A city tour and a visit to the Taj Mahal were organized in order to give the participants the experience of India in the organization held in cooperation with the National Anti-Doping Agency of India and the World Anti-Doping Agency.
