Informative meetings were held on Doping Controls in the Covid-19 Process for the athletes in the Registered Testing Pool between 20:30 and 22:00 on 27 – 28 July 2020.

Turkish Anti-Doping Commission’s Director General Prof. Dr. Rüştü Güner gave an opening speech of the meeting. Following, Dr. Burak Fariz presented “Doping Controls and Hygiene Rules in Covid-19 Process”, Dr. Murat Kurtulmuş presented “Preparation before Doping Control, Precautions Taken in the Process and Doping Control Station”. Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Doping Control Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Hamza Uyar explained “Urine-Blood Samples, Completing Forms and Additional Responsibilities”.

On the second day of the meeting, the other group of athletes in the Registered Testing Pool participated to the meeting. In the meeting same topics presented to the participants by Dr. Mesut Nalçakan, Dr. Erdal Hancı and Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Doping Control Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Kadir Birol. Moreover, Whereabouts and Athlete Central Application subjects were explained to the participants by Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Whereabouts Officer Büşra Şeker Kılınç for both participant groups.
