Collaborants from the Republic of Moldova State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemițanu”, and Moldova National Anti-Doping Agency and representatives of the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission came together at the Olympic House on December 5, 2023, within the scope of the Türkiye activities of the “Common Actions in Anti-Doping Research through Piloting of Innovative Interventions in Education” project.
At the event held for the anti-doping cooperation between Moldova and Türkiye, a workshop of the “Common Actions in Anti-Doping Research through Piloting of Innovative Interventions in Education” project was held within the scope of current projects and plans were made for future collaborations.
Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Chairman of the Board of Directors Nihat Usta, General Director Prof. Dr. Rüştü Güner, Deputy General Director Atty. Mehmet Yoğurtcuoğlu, Science and Medical Coordinator Doğa Derman Veldet and Moldovan collaborators Jucov Artiom, Timercan Tatiana, Chihai Victoria, Tăbîrță Alina, Pogonea Ina, Ștefaneț Gheorghe and Ciofu Alina attended to the event. Turkish Anti-Doping Commission representatives and collaborators from the Republic of Moldova “Nicolae Testemițanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Moldovan Anti-Doping Agency were hosted and meetings were held to improve joint capacity in the field of anti-doping. The meetings were focused on discussions on how to promote existing collaborations, ongoing partnership, planning further education initiatives and exploring opportunities for anti-doping collaborations.
The initials phase of the anti-doping training initiative in the Turkish language, which will be launched by the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission for the Gagauz Turks of Moldova, have been scheduled. Within the scope of the activities of the project, it was decided to organize the next evaluation meeting and events in Moldova.
