The Development Seminar for candidate Doping Control Officers and current Doping Control Officers was held online by the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Training Team on May 28, 2022 with the participation of 97 people.

The first session was presented to the participants by the Training Team with the management of the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission’s General Director Prof. Dr. Rüştü Güner.

Athlete Notification and Urine Sample Collection Procedures, Challenges at the Time of Notification, and Blood Collection Procedure scenarios were played by Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Monitoring and Development of Doping Control Tasks Officer Murat Gündüz, Doping Control Officer Dr. Umutcan Kayıkçı, Attorney İpek Okyar, Doping Control Operations Officer and Blood Collection Officer Tuba Yağcıoğlu Öztürk.

In the joint session held after the first session with the participation of the candidate and current Doping Control Officers, the Issues to be Considered in Doping Controls were presented by Monitoring and Development of Doping Control Tasks Officer Hamza Uyar. The joint session ended after the questions of the participants were answered by the Training Team.

The third and last session was held for the current Doping Control Officers only on Evaluation of the Pandemic Process and Sharing Opinions under the management of Deputy Director-General of the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission Attorney Mehmet Yoğurtcuoğlu. After receiving the opinions and questions of the Doping Control Officers, the seminar was completed.
