As part of Clean Sports education and awareness activities, the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission organized a doping control education and awareness booth event on March 9, 2024, in Erzurum during the 20th Winter Deaflympics. An awareness activity with the Play True Quiz game was held for athletes and athlete support personnel at the Clean Sports Booth during the Winter Deaflympics. Following the booth activities, Dr. Umutcan Kayıkçı provided doping control education. Athletes and athlete support personnel from the 20 mixed group of Deaf individuals participated in the education. With Turkish and International Sign Language interpreters, Dr. Umutcan Kayıkçı explained the doping control process in practice, informing participants about the Prohibited List, Athlete Rights and Responsibilities, and Anti-Doping Rule Violations.
