On January 30 and 31, 2021 an information meeting was held about the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code for athletes and coaches from the Turkish Weightlifting Federation. The meeting was held online with total of 87 participants.

The Turkish Anti-Doping Commission’s General Director Prof. Dr. Rüştü Güner provided comprehensive information on the fundamental changes in the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code which entered into force on January 1, 2021. Within the scope of the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code and the Turkish Anti-Doping Regulation athletes and coaches were informed particularly on the subjects of providing Substantial Assistance, Aggravating Circumstances, Substance of Abuse, Right to a Fair Hearing.  The meeting was ended answering questions of participants by Prof. Dr. Rüştü Güner.
